Tendo por base acompanhamentos feitos nas redes sociais, a Pol\u00edcia Federal deflagrou hoje (24\/10\/2018) a Opera\u00e7\u00e3o Olhos de Lince, com o objetivo de coibir crimes relacionados \u00e0s elei\u00e7\u00f5es. Entre os crimes apurados est\u00e3o os de viola\u00e7\u00e3o do sigilo do voto e de incita\u00e7\u00e3o a homic\u00eddio.<\/p>\n

Ao todo, nove a\u00e7\u00f5es est\u00e3o sendo cumpridas de forma simult\u00e2nea: quatro mandados de busca e apreens\u00e3o nos munic\u00edpios de S\u00e3o Paulo e Sorocaba\/SP; em Uberl\u00e2ndia (MG) e em Caxias do Sul (RS).<\/p>\n

Tamb\u00e9m foram expedidos cinco Termos Circunstanciados de Ocorr\u00eancia (registros de infra\u00e7\u00e3o de menor potencial ofensivo), com a intima\u00e7\u00e3o de investigados em Juiz de Fora (MG), Varginha (MG), Recife (PE) e Caxias do Sul (RS).<\/p>\n

\u201cPara a identifica\u00e7\u00e3o dos investigados foram utilizadas t\u00e9cnicas de reconhecimento facial, que, por meio de crit\u00e9rios cient\u00edficos, permitem a realiza\u00e7\u00e3o de an\u00e1lises e compara\u00e7\u00f5es das caracter\u00edsticas faciais, tais como cicatrizes, manchas e propor\u00e7\u00f5es, possibilitando a identifica\u00e7\u00e3o de forma t\u00e9cnica e precisa dos suspeitos\u201d, informou, por meio de nota, a PF.<\/p>\n

Tais a\u00e7\u00f5es, implementadas no \u00e2mbito do Centro Integrado de Comando e Controle Eleitoral, decorrem do trabalho de acompanhamento, via redes sociais, com o objetivo de identificar e evitar poss\u00edveis crimes eleitorais e amea\u00e7as aos candidatos que concorrem ao pleito de 2018.<\/p>\n
