Segundo o Instituto Nacional de Meteorologia (INM), no per\u00edodo entre 10 horas do dia 19 e 10 horas do dia 20 de janeiro de 2016 choveu 189,4 mm. O maior recorde registrado em 24 horas no pa\u00eds era de Tucuru\u00ed, no nordeste do Par\u00e1, onde choveu 184,4 mm entre 12 e 13 de janeiro.<\/p>\n<p>Por volta das 14 horas dessa quarta-feira (20) ainda chovia muito sobre a regi\u00e3o de Guanh\u00e3es. Entre 10h e 14 horas choveu mais 64 mm. Segundo o Instituto Nacional de Meteorologia no per\u00edodo entre 14 horas do dia 19 e 14 horas do dia 20 de janeiro a regi\u00e3o j\u00e1 acumulava cerca de 251 mm de chuva. Este volume at\u00e9 supera a m\u00e9dia de chuva para janeiro que \u00e9 de 220 mm.<\/p>\n<p>A chuva foi muito volumosa entre essa ter\u00e7a e quarta sobre o norte e nordeste de Minas Gerais e v\u00e1rias \u00e1reas receberam mais de 100 mm de chuva em 24 horas. A chuva excessiva causou alagamentos nas cidades e transbordamento de rios.<\/p>\n<p>A chuva deve continuar frequente na regi\u00e3o do vale do Rio Doce pelo menos at\u00e9 a proxima segunda-feira. At\u00e9 l\u00e1, podem ocorrer per\u00edodos de melhora do tempo, com algumas horas sem chuva e at\u00e9 a presen\u00e7a do sol, entre muitas nuvens. Mas as pancadas de chuva ainda poder\u00e3o ser moderadas a fortes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Balan\u00e7o:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Segundo a Pol\u00edcia Militar da cidade, cerca de 50 pessoas encontram-se
