O levantamento de dados foi feito por Francisco Couy e Amilton Ferreira, funcion\u00e1rios do Instituto M\u00e9dico Legal (IML) de Te\u00f3filo Otoni. <\/p>\n<p>Em 2015, Te\u00f3filo Otoni registrou 40 mortes violentas, n\u00famero que representa quase o dobro de 2014, quando ocorreram 23 homic\u00eddios. O munic\u00edpio possui a maior popula\u00e7\u00e3o da regi\u00e3o, que em 2015 foi estimada pelo Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estat\u00edstica (IBGE) em 141.046 habitantes.<\/p>\n<p>At\u00e9 o dia 28 de dezembro, 1079 corpos foram analisados pela equipe do IML de Te\u00f3filo Otoni. O \u00f3rg\u00e3o tamb\u00e9m emitiu 2960 laudos. J\u00e1 em 2014, foram emitidos 2695 laudos e 960 corpos foram necropsiados.<\/p>\n<p>O Instituto M\u00e9dico Legal de Te\u00f3filo Otoni conta uma equipe formada por cinco m\u00e9dicos legistas, quarto agentes, dois auxiliares de per\u00edcia e um auxiliar administrativo.<\/p>\n<p>Os gr\u00e1ficos abaixo mostram a compara\u00e7\u00e3o dos homic\u00eddios registrados em 2014 e 2015 nos 21 munic\u00edpios analisados:<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Te\u00f3filo Otoni<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>&#8211;
